One good thing!

So far there is at least one good thing for us being here....

...that would be...

...FAMILY NIGHT!

Since we have NOTHING to do around the house we have had plenty of time to keep up with having a family night once a week. As well as starting the habit of reading from the scriptures each night with the kids.  I'd say that is a good thing about having nothing else to do (the only good thing though).

So far our family night included lots of singing.  This week we decided to try a new board game with Sophia.  I popped pop corn to keep Tate occupied so the 3 of us could learn the new game.  It was fun.  I'd say our first family board game night was a success. 

p.s.  Since we've been reading in the evenings, Tate has been trying to speak more.  We had Sophia repeat back a few lines with us and then one night Tate decided he wanted to repeat back a few words too.  So far they know the phrase, "And it came to pass" by heart.
