To begin this post I will start with this outing....we were going out the door to drop daddy off at the airport for his long trip.
Then our visitors arrived. We have enjoyed having so many family members visit. Sophia still reminds me about what she learned from all of them.

She still likes to ask for spinach even though she knows she doesn't like it because grandpa taught her how to eat it. She talks about airplanes crashing and gets a big kick out of it because her and grandpa played a fun game about crashing.

She brightens right up when I tell her Aunt Kaer is on the phone. She enjoyed having the Neumanns out to visit. We got drenched at Mt Vernon. It has become a tradition when Aunt Kaer comes that we get soaked on one of our outings.

Then came Aunt Ananda and cousin Autumn whom she still reminds me that Autumn got on a plane to go back and see her papa. We all had a wild time together but very much needed on my end. If our kids weren't wild enough...we had to take them to the Zoo to show them who they reminded us of :-)

Our favorite part about the zoo was seeing the baby gorilla. Oh how cute and it put us in our place as moms. Sophia also poses by the komodo dragon who gave us a good show by staring right at us and walking around.
